Smithfield Market Christmas Meat Auction 2024

Every Christmas, a tradition that spans back a century is held at Smithfield Market in the City of London, as the traders host their annual Christmas meat auction during which their surplus meats are auctioned off to the public.

This years auction will be taking place at 10am on Tuesday 24 December 2024, in the stunningly ornate Grand Avenue.

Please be aware that only cash payments will be accepted, as card transactions will not be available.
