Visit Guildhall Art Gallery and London's Roman Amphitheatre to enjoy specially designed family activities.
A revolving programme of family activities may have you heading into the Roman Amphitheatre and hearing tales of Roman conquests, or creating crafts from the Victorian paintings surrounding you.
At our next Second Saturday 12 April we will be celebrating Spring and having fun exploring nature in our collection, looking at flowers, trees and plants, come and see what you can find our gallery!
We will have a fun range of activities for all the family, including;
11am to 4pm Craft Activities:
- Create your own garden collage with botanical prints.
- Make a monoprint using carbon paper.
11.30am and 2.30pm Storytime sessions in Main Gallery (approx 20 mins).
Includes a story corner with portable library, cushions, costumes, and soft play building bricks.
Plan to make a day of it and bring a picnic lunch to have at the Guildhall Art Gallery (cloakroom) or eat nearby.
This event is for children aged 3 to 11 and their families. It is not suitable for individual adults.
The activities are free, whilst booking is advised - we also welcome walk-ins on the day.
