Halloween at Leadenhall Market

Learn more

Centuries-old history, cobbled streets, glowing lanterns...and monster tentacles! Get ready for the year’s spookiest holiday at Leadenhall Market.

Visit Leadenhall Market this Halloween and be greeted by the six-metre tentacles that have become an annual fixture in the market's celebrations. The creeping limbs are in stark contrast to the magical starry ceilings and listed architecture, making for an atmospheric setting for the year’s spookiest season.

Complete your visit by taking a walk on the dark side of Leadenhall to explore some of its sinister history. City of London guides’ Burials, Bombs and Fantastic Beasts walking tours are back by popular demand and running two evenings per week.

Try your luck at naming the famous monster for a chance to win a Halloween night tour of the Market.
