Family Activities at Tower Bridge coming up this February:

The Badges of Tower Bridge (Saturday 8 February)

Have you ever noticed the special logos on the flags flying outside Tower Bridge? Families can find out what these symbols represent then create their own logo. They can they also turn that logo into a badge to take home and keep.

Between 10am and 4pm.

February Half Term: Super Steel and Marvellous Magnets (Tuesday 18 February)

Did you know that the skeleton of Tower Bridge is made of 10,000 tonnes of steel or the equivalent of 5400 London black cabs? Sir William Arrol was the man responsible for the Bridge’s steel framework. To celebrate his February 1839 birthday, Tower Bridge is taking a closer look at steel, particularly its magnetic properties. Families can come and see this sturdy stuff, and make a mini magnet to take home and keep!

Between 10am and 4pm.

Designed to entertain children of all ages, Tower Bridge’s Family Activities are included in the price of entry, plus, receive a Family Activities Pass offering free entry on any Family Activities Day in the next six months.

Alongside the Family Activities, Tower Bridge offers its must-visit High-level Walkways, for breath-taking views of London and the thrill of walking on the Glass Floors 42 meters above the River Thames. After exploring inside the Bridge, follow the Blue Line to the magnificent Victorian Engine Rooms to discover the steam engines that once powered the Bridge and learn more about the landmark’s fascinating history.

For more family fun, check out the interactive Tower Bridge Cat Trail to solve clues and complete fun tasks while journeying through the Bridge. Meet the friendly Bridge Master and his team who are always on hand to help young explorers learn more about the Bridge and its history.

For a quieter experience, on the second Saturday of every month, Tower Bridge also hosts Relaxed Openings — a special time when families can explore the Towers and Engine Rooms in a calm and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for children and family members with neurodiverse needs.
